MS Office 3 version differences?

What are the differences between the 3 versions of MS Office, ie. Teacher/Student...Standard... and Pro versions? I have a daughter who recently switched to Macs, but she is unhappy with Pages and iMail. Apparently they don't have the capabilities she was used to with MS Office on her old pc. I offered to buy her the Mac version of Office for Mac but there is a huge difference in pricing, from $149. to $399, so I am trying to understand the differences in capabilities and reasons why the price range varies so greatly.

Student & Teacher Edition can only be bought by students and faculty at schools and colleges/universities. Use by anyone else is illegal.

Standard gives you Word, Excel, Entourage and Powerpoint.

Professional also gives you Virtual PC with XP Pro (on Office 2003 for the PC, Pro actually gives each app more features, but on mac VPC is all you get)

Also the student and teacher edition can be installed on three Macs and used concurrently. With the standard and pro versions you can install on two Macs but can not be used concurrently.
