iTunes store can't connect. Network connection timed out.

"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection timed out.
'Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again'"

Well, last I checked I can get on the internet, play games online, chat, do everything. There are two other computers in the room on the same router that can connect to the iTunes store. I've tried all of the solutions from support, but to no avail. I know I'm not the only one with this problem so if you've solved it anything would help.

I'm having the same problem. Bought a new iPod Classic (80g) today... so excited to come home and load it up. That went fine, but after, iTunes Store won't connect. Tried to download (again) iTunes... still no luck. System tells me that I need to download the newest version of iPod software for the Classic too (v 1.1.1) as well... but can't connect to that server either.
Funny... everything was working so well with the OLD iPod, and v. 7.5 of iTunes.

Guess I'll be returning my new toy. This is ridiculous!
