This is a Photo Booth question, but I couldn't find a forum that would fit. Maybe I'll post it under Leopard as well. The new photobooth effects are really cool, but I tested the "backdrop" function with some random picture, and want to delete it. I can't figure out how to do this! I'm sure I could just put a different picture in its place, but is there a way to remove the backdrops? I can't click, ctrl-click, or right-click without it just selecting the effect. Thank you.
MacBook 2Ghz Intel Core Duo,
Mac OS X (10.5),
built-in iSight camera, photo booth v2.0
I just tried this (you're right, this is a great feature!)
I found Command-Delete worked to get rid of the background. I first got rid of the photo from the "drawer" with Command-Delete, then I clicked on the background (which of course expanded) but then Command-Delete got rid of it after I pressed "effects" again.
I don't think there really is way to delete backdrops. You just replace it with something else when you need to.
Photo Booth doesn't appear to actually copy the files contain your own backdrops. It just creates a link to them.
For this reason, it should be possible to just rename the original file for the backdrop. Then Photo Booth can't find it and it will be effectively deleted.
how do i do this? please help!!! i downloaded all these effects and they slowed down my comp. a LOT!!! and i need to delete the ones i do not use. pleaseee help me!!
