How long does your iphone take to charge?

How long does your iphone take to charge when at various battery levels remaining?

When your iphone is at 10% battery remaining, how long does it take to charge?

When your iphone is at 20% battery remaining, how long does it take to charge?

When your iphone is at 50% battery remaining, how long does it take to charge?

(Assuming that you charge the phone when the phone is off using the Apple USB cable or dock through a wall power outlet)

10% about 1.5 hours
20% about 1 hour
50% about 30 minutes

When you have only 20% battery remaining (message pops up), it takes you only 1 hour to charge the phone to 100% capacity?

Wow. My phone takes about 6 - 7 hours to charge while off using the usb cable/dock and a wall outlet.

Wow, yes this morning my battery was in the red zone and after an hour it was about 70% complete when I removed it.

On Apple.com it says that it should take 4 hours to charge to full from 0%. the first 2 hours are at a fast charge that takes it to 80%, next 2 hours are trickle charged to 100%.

Usually 1 1/2 Hours tops.

When your iphone is at 20% battery remaining, how long does it take to charge?

Around the Same

Thirty Minutes.

I think if it is taking you 6 to 7 hours then something is wrong here. Either the battery is flawed, the cable or dock is flawed, or something is wrong with the outlet. It should not take that long.

Standby. I have yet to turn the iPhone off since I got it. I just plug it into the dock to charge.

I charge mine in standby mode, I never power down my phone.

Interesting. That may be why mine takes so long to charge for I power it down then charge it. I thought powering down a phone during charge was better for it?

Also, as posted above, according to the Apple Battery page, the first 2 hours of charge would take it to 80%...is that page based on the phone being off or in standby?

Yes, thank you. I have read both that page and the other page but have not found if it is charged off or on standby. I hoping someone with personal experience or a direct answer that someone received from an apple employee forum member would maybe know.

Its standby. If you plug the iphone into the charge when its off it will turn right back on.

True, but I plug it in while its on, then turn it off.

isn't that how phones are supposed to be charged...to ensure a full good charge?
