I can't use compressor on leopard

I made clean install of leopard and FCS1, and I did exactly what apple says in this article: "Unable to connect to background process"

but it still don't work, and i can't encode anything with Dvd Studio Pro either.

I use G5DP 2Gh and Final cut studio 1.

G5DP 2Gh, Mac OS X (10.5), Mac book pro 15" 2.4Gh

Sounds like your Mac would benefit from a Compressor reinstall.

Reinstalling Compressor is pretty fast and easy when using Pacifist, like described here: http://www.scottsimmons.tv/blog/2008/01/11/compressor-hatred-resolved/

In Pacifist, remember to check Don't ask again for this installation before hitting Replace.

Much easier and faster than doing it the Apple way.

Also remember to update Compressor once reinstalled.
