AEBSn USB Hard drive Share over WAN possible to change Port over Internet!

I have been battling my ISP to request them to open ports 445 specifically to allow me to access my USB HDD over the internet but its not happpening. However one of the users from the dslforums suggested:

"Couldn't you just remap port 445 internal to another external port on your Apple Airport?
Internally on your network it doesn't change anything, but to access from the internet you just have to add the new port number to your public ip (i.e. \\67.49.45.X:1445\Share) "

Is this possible?
I was testing the Port forwarding feature but when i select custom or file sharing it threw a red flag and i couldnt change the port. I assume by default when Share over WAN is selected it defaults to port 445 and 139?

If there is a way to change this then pretty much every Windows user can finally fix their problem with sharing over WAN by simply using an open port

Windows XP Pro, none of ur business

its comcast, time warner road runner, ATT dsl and many others... basically all of the major players block them for security reasons...

It would be a simple fix if AEBSn allowed users to change the default file share ports so we can use a open port but this is not possible...

even the business class for residential does no guarantee open 137-139 and 445 open ports as someone else found out on the dslforums.
