listening to music while surfing web

When I listen to music on my iPhone while browsing websites at the same time, my music often stops. It happens more with some sites than others. Plus I can't restart my music from where it left off. Have to start song from the beginning. Has anyone else had this problem? Just got my iPhone for Christmas so I haven't had it that long. Any suggestions appreciated.

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11), iPhone

Yes, this is a well reported issue. Hopefully it will be resolved with some firmware update.

I'm on the phone with Apple Support and they said they have never heard of this problem before. I guess more people should call in to report this.

The problem has existed since June 29th when the iPhone first came out.

Glad to know I'm not alone.

You know, I find it hard to believe that the QA people didn't listen to music and run safari at the same time.

I manage to crash the iPod functionality after about 15 minutes of surfing. If I reboot the iPhone, it'll give me about 30-45 minutes of surfing before I get into the crash-every-15-minutes mode. Seems like a resource leak to me. :P
