epson stylus cx6600

Please let me know if this is different from what you did earlier:
I went to epson--> drivers/support--> all-in-one--> flatbed--> CX6600--> chose Macintosh ( was beneath the heading Drivers & Downloads") -->Macintosh Operating Systems.
The only choice I saw under the heading for power macs was *epson easy print*. Did I do something wrong? This is the steps I took when I wrote the above entry. I installed it, then chose page set up, pick epson stylus CX6600, but got the same results which is the words "sending data" in the epson stylus window, but does not print.

in system preference when I select print and fax icon, its shows:
epson stylus CX6600,
Location: Smith's iMac G5,
Kind: epson Cx6600 Series (1)
Status: idle, default
Default Printer: Epson Stylus CX6600
Default Paper Size in page setup: US Letter

If I choose add printer, I see only CX6000 series and CX6900 to choose for my driver.

Does this mean my driver for Epson Stylus from the epson website CX6600 did not install?

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I had to call epson for help. Extremely helpful, They had me do a manual copy and print with the computer disconnected from the USB port. Then they had me reconnect the USB to my computer and uninstalled the drivers using my 2004 epson cd. Next re-installed the intel drivers for CX6600, also the intel driver for the scanner and last the easy print patch. There were no drivers for the power mac, just the easy print patch, which I didn't know was a patch untill they told me. I kept trying to use it, since it was at the top of the list and the onlt drivers that said it was for power mac.

procedure-->epson.com-->USA-->drivers and support-->all-in-one-->flatbed-->Stylus CX6600-->under drivers and downloads, select macintosh-->select:

dowload and install.

For scanner: go back and download and install:
