All Sony Ericsson phones with Bluetooth are as all are the previous models in that line (T68, T610, T630, K700). Though I don't believe that it's out yet.
Hello out there!
I have to renew this request because my girlfriend's phone provider offers this model right now:
Are there some experiences with the Sony Ericsson K750i and iSync?
Thanks for your answers and best regards

Apparently, nobody has made experience with the K750i so faR.
But up until now, all new SonyEricsson have worked flawless with iSync. Contrary to Siemens and Nokia, the SE phones and iSync all seem to go well together...

Hi all,
iSync does NOT work with the current release of Mac OS X (10.4) and the current release of the K750 software.
I have a K750 in front of me and believe me, I have tried.
The old trick, pre-Tiger, of modifying the BTConduit.plist file (thanks to salling software) does not work because
1. I can't find the file in Tiger
2. I don't know what string to put in there.

Anders,
Please post back here if you find a way to make this work. Thanks

Some more info on K750.
Deep inside the iSync.app file (package) there is a file named MetaClasses.plist.
Other persons (do a Google) have been successful in modifying this XML file so that "unsupported" models can sync.
I will continue to experiment with this file.
I am guessing that the necessary modification of metaclasses.plist is pretty simple.
BTW: The K750 works perfectly with iPhoto.

The brochure states (my translation):
"With K750i you can syncronize calendar tasks, contact information, documents and e-mail whenever you need it - by Bluetooth or USB cable. Of course, you may transfer music, pictures and video the same way. Works on both PC and Mac."
However, nothing is said about system requirements.

Just got the K750i today. Real great phone, but why didn't Apple add it to iSync with the new 10.4.1 update!
Come on Apple I want to use my new phone with all my contacts!

I got it to work. Although it seems to work correctly, I can't guarantee anything until the phone is officially supported by iSync. You can download the MetaClasses file from http://www.kinkykoala.com/macstuff/k750i/
Thanx!
I'm going to try it right away!

How do I get it to sync in OS 10.3.9?

Can anyone tell me if iSync 2 transfers Company entries (that have been designated as such in Address Book) to the phone, with a / in front of the company name, so the record is not properly alphabetized with other records?
That's been a problem with every Sony phone in the past, and I'm wondering if it's the same case now. Thanks!

Got my new K750i yesterday and today I decided to figure out how to hack iSync 1.5 (running Panther) to make the syncing working. I've published a working HOWTO and added a screendump as proof here:

Enjoy!

If somebody decides to use the same procedure for another phone, I'll be happy to add the Bluetooth ID for that model as well. Just as long as you've verified it on your own system.
