NEW sony ericsson k750i

does anyone know if the NEW sony ericsson k750i is compatible with bluetooth isyncing as i want to buy this phone ?

And we got the correct icon showing in the iSync window:

Maybe you can add the icons in a similar way for 10.3?

From what I could deduce, the kinkykoala solution requires iSync 2.0. Isn't that correct?

I'm not on Tiger yet.

Yep, that's true. Hopefully you can modify it to add the icons I made (at the link above) to iSync under 10.3?

Problem is that it relies on a plug-in architecture that seems to have been introduced with iSync 2.0. Not an expert so correct me if I'm wrong here.

Would love to have your icon, though.

I edited the file in text-edit and saved as Unicode (UTF-8). This is what text-edit suggested. Hope this is correct - or else I have destroyed the BTConduit_phones.plist file.

Hi Stefan,

Is everything getting synced iCal, Address Book, or is there any problems. Also, How is the phone, What are your comments on the K750i I am thinking of getting one.

Both Calendar and Address Book data is synced.

The phone itself seems to have all you would want from a phone, including video editing software and a flashlight with optional S.O.S. distress morse sequence signalling.

With one exception: I haven't found a way to enter a recurring appointment on the phone.

Seems like the only recurring appointments are birthdays.

A few other things about the phone:
1. Voice recording use .amr file format. I could not get it played by QuickTime. Is there an .amr converter available?
2. The handsfree headphones are not great. Is there any adapter to connect my old Koss PortPro?

1. AMR -> other formats. Use QuickTime. Guide on link below. Haven't tested it myself.

2. Agree. Wouldn't expect SonyEricsson to be the first to release one though, since I suspect they want to push their own stuff first. One of the features of W800 over K750i is that W800 comes with better headphones.

If you haven't noted, the handsfree car-kit will connect the K750i to the speaker system of your car stereo, complete with phone muting. Don't know any more details about it though.

I am new to Mac and need some help. Have Tiger and got my k750 i yesterday and cant sync with isync 2.0
I understand that there is a solution for this here and the answer is in this forum. Can anyone please give me a step by step instruction on how i do this.(for dummies)

amr conversion doesn´t seem to work with Quick Time for Mac. Your link points to an .exe file.

I downloaded the new plist. It sync'd all contacts except those with both a phone number and an email address.
