From what I've gathered, Motorola/T-Mobile's v330 is essentially a v551 in a different case. Does it automatically sync over Bluetooth with iSync (the v551 does) or if not, does anyone know if there's a way to make it?
I just purchased this phone and have tried to make the changes as well without success. Can someone send me a copy of their plist file that works?

FYI, unlike my old T68i, when you iSync the v330 lacks any status message to let you know that the phone is in the process of syncing (even though it is).
Not sure if this is a model or manufacturer specific thing.
I just bought this phone yesterday when I switched to T-Mobile. I tried the advice here (changing the plist, etc.) but I don't know how to do the "clear all" in the BT area of my v330 - as was previously recommended.
Also... I'm wondering if just changing all of the v600 references to v330 in the plist was enough. (???)
I'm relatively new to the Mac -- so I know just enough to get me into trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Got this to work fairly easily... just changed V600 to V330 in the plist file and tiff file as described above from my admin account (not root), repaired permissions...opened iSynch...and it worked.
Now...if i can figure out how to use my phone as a modem... so I can get online anywhere. it gives me the option in the set-up procedure to use my ISPs number..the normal number i use at home... but it always fails when I "dial" from my computer... My phone and computer get linked... but I always get a communication error when trying to dial in.
I just bought the Motorola/T-Mobile's v330 today, and after I couldn't get it to work, I followed the instructions on this thread and it worked right off. The only thing I would suggest to people, is that they make a GROUP in the address book and only drag the people/numbers they want to sync to the phone. It created duplicate entries for every person for email address and phone number which makes you have to scroll through and incredibly long list of names... You can just sync a specific GROUP ... I called my TMobile Group and just sync'd the people/numbers in that group... Thanks a million......
and the T-Mobile guy said it couldn't be done with iSync...HA!
My hat's off to all of you who contributed to this! I recently purchased the V330 assuming I could easily sync using Bluetooth but was very frustrated when I quickly learned I couldn't. After doing a lot of research, it appeared that Motorola was going to make me buy their software to sync with my Mac but found that they didn't have a version for the Mac, only Windows. I had even started the process of returning the phone when I did one last search in this group for anyone who possibly had any luck with Bluetooth phones.
GREAT WORK!!! I applied the changes to the V600 entry and was very pleased with the results. I'm now fully synchronized with my Mac both iCal and Addressbook - VERY NICE!!!
Now, my question to the group here is... does it work with Bluetooth File Exchange... in other words, can I use it to send mp3s for ringtones and can I use to grab pics and send pics?
