Its verizon who's the problem. Cingular has many Motorola phones that work just fine with iSync. As said earlier in this forum and confirmed to my by a verizon salesman, verizon has not allowed any phone manufacturer to allow syncing with phones via bluetooth. The salesman told me it was because they "don't want viruses" on their network but the truth is that they don't want people using any other protocol besides their pay one.
On the motorola side, just got off with a customer service guy, he said to me that the Motorola mobil phone tools version3.0 is compatible with this phone and comes with the correct usb cable needed to connect to a computer. Its sold on their website only. I'm going to buy one but my only concern is that it is not mac compatible. I often find with these various third party syncing decives that they do not work on mac. Hopefully the usb cable will be all that we need and it will work from there.
Lastly, incase anyone was wondering, the customer service guy told me that subject to this cable working etc, you would be able to transfer mp3's from your computer to your phone!! A nice touch
Hope this helps
