UPDATE FLAWLESS

Yep, another flawless iPhone update here. The entire process took 9 minutes. I updated my phone first, and then updated iTunes, and everything went perfectly.

Uninstall the Apple software Update and download the new version of Itunes from the apple itunes site.

From the windows task manager (Ctrl + alt + delete go to tab preocesses and kill all the programs of apple), you dont need to unistall all your apple programs.

Run the the new itunes software and this is going to work, it works for me.

Updated without a problem.

Well, all I know is don't let the iPhone update start BEFORE you finish the iTunes upgrade. What a drag. It hosed me and I had to "restore". !@#!@$

I updated my iPhone to 1.1.3 first....and then I did the iTunes update! Everything went very quick (aprox. 10 minutes total) and smoothly for me! 🙂

My update was also flawless.

FYI, I updated to iTunes 7.6 first, then synced my iPhone, then dowloaded the iPhone update, then updated the iphone. After the dowloads, the process took about 6-7 minutes. So far, so good. I really like the ability to customize the front page - helps a lot with frequent web links.

Okay not too shabby. iTunes had it backed up so everything was 100% in tact except no songs, so I just re-synched the music and viola. So it only cost me a few extra minutes. Whew!

Update went smooth. Did the ITunes update first then the IPhone, working properly so far.
