Just finished mine as well. Took about 1/2 hour. So far so good. All my contacts, calendar are fine. wifi is working, lyrics are working great!! (how freaking intuitive is that - just touched the album cover and up come the lyrics (A New Day Yesterday), home screen update works great, made a webclip for sfgate.com and moved it to page 2 of my home screen....

I'm sure I'll find bugs but holy cow - this is a thing of beauty.

I'm glad that a lot of you are successful. I am having some trouble and hope someone here can offer some advise. After all the upgrade, iTunes is now not able to see my iPhone. It gives and error saying something about '.. able to detect an iPhone but not able to properly recogize ..' in unplugged and plugged several time, cold boot, hot boot, uninstall, reinstall, re-boot again, reset, ... still no luck. Help!

I gotta say, mine went flawlessly as well. I, too, updated my iPhone first then iTunes.

I was a little nervous though reading all the posts earlier in the day of people who were having issues updating but then I thought everyone is chomping at the bit to update that it's no wonder the system was getting a bit buggy. I waited until early evening and not one issue.

I'm glad to hear that most of you had no problem installing the updates. I did have a problem and I can't figure it out. I have a 1.33 GHz iBook G4 and an iPhone, which was synced up two days ago. I installed iTunes 7.6 from Software Update. When I finished and attempted to sync my iPhone, iTunes didn't know that it was connected. Strangely enough, it does recognize my iPod. I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of iTunes 7.6 from the Apple site. My problem is the same. My iPhone works perfectly, except for this one serious problem.

Any ideas anyone?
