iPod 160GB Classic with iPod Hi-Fi Speakers?

I cant confirm it as I am not having a 160GB Classic, but I can't see a reason why it cant fit it.

The Apple iPod dock adapater is a standard size (dimension), only with different sizes of the inner space (to fit with different shape of iPods).

I have an iPod HiFi, it fits with my iPod 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, 1st Gen + 2nd Gen Nano, iTouch, 5th Geb iPod. The only exceptional is for iPod Shuffles, which still can play with HiFi (connecting to the aux in on the back of HiFi instead of docking)

Use the adaptor that came with your Classic, make sure you are on firmware 1.0.3 and you will be fine. I use mine with no problems.

You probably already know this, but firmware 1.1.3 is now compatible with the Zeppelin and shows the Speaker menu with the bass settings. Also works with the HiFi. Same for 1.0.3 on the Classic.

I did not know that, Zeppelin is only available in USA at the moment. But I did see it at a shop in Hong Kong, I did not buy it as it was US$200 more than you could get online in your country.

I listened to the sound, it was really good and better than iPod HiFi.

I have a 160Gig Classic and a Hi-Fi and they are working perfectly together.

I have my Pod in a hardshell plastic case and it docks fine with no adapter at all. Use it every day as a wake up alarm. All is working since 1.0.3 and 1.1 firmware upgrades.
