Will PC3200 DDR work in a Powerbook G4?

Hi Just wondering I have a Powerbook G4 (15 in, 1.5 GHz) Purchased in Aug-Sept of 03. Was wondering If DDR PC3200 RAM would work in it. Having a hard time finding a 1GB stick of PC2700 at a reasonable price. I would just use two 512MB but I'm almost 99.9% sure that my Lower RAM slot is messed up and my Mac Serial number falls just right outside the numbers for the RAM Recall. So if anyone has any insight on the 3200 instead of 2700 that would be great. Or if anyone knows of a cheap place to get reliable RAM.

Thanks
Ty

As a suggestion, don't go cheap on the RAM. Our Powerbooks are sensitive to the quality of RAM used. Some RAM can meet Apple's printed specs and not work, and this is typically cheaper RAM. Current prices (and they can vary week-to-week) on 3 recommended brands: Crucial $94, Kingston $97, Samsung $130 (through Macsales), and you can usually find a 5%-15% discount coupon for Crucial. Others have found PNY works, you can scan these discussions for the PNY part number.

You should be able to use PC3200 RAM, as the system will only run it at PC2700 speeds. There was an Apple note on this with the PPC mac mini.
