CK3100, 1.1.3 problems, iPhone locks up

I have the Parrot CK3100, which worked perfectly with the iPhone before 1.1.3. Now when it starts the phonebook sync, it eventually locks the iPhone. When I say lock, I mean iPhone is unusable (screen is off or frozen) and can't receive calls until I hold the home button and power button until it restarts. I've called Apple support, tried restoring the phone in iTunes, unpaired the devices, reset the network settings, re-paired the Parrot, and no luck. It occasionally just doesn't connect to the Parrot, but usually just locks up the iPhone. FYI, I have tried using a friend's Nokia (with Bluetooth 2.0), and the Parrot (with phonebook sync) worked perfectly. So the Parrot isn't having any issues. I've had these iPhone and Parrot working for about 6 months without a single issue. I'd love to go back to 1.1.2, the car kit does a lot more for me than locate me or changing the home screen icons. HELP APPLE, it was perfect before the update!!!!

I took have a Parrot CK3100. But the issue isn't that. The issue is the 1.1.3 upgrade period. Even when not synced to my handsfree my phone freezes at least 12 times per day.

I have to hard reset using both buttons.

Apple swapped me out for another phone which was preloaded with 1.1.2, it worked fine until I upgraded that one to 1.1.3 also, now I'm experiencing the same locks ups. It's definetly something with 1.1.3 you'll find many other users with the same issues on this board.

downgrading is not an option it will cause you to have an Itouch- I looked and couldnt find anyone with good results. www.modmyifone.com is where I do most of my looking and everything on there says its a no go. Im taking my phone to apple at lunch to see what they can do for me there if anything. hopefully a swap for a 1.1.2 and ill just hold of on updates. :((

I have just flashed my Parrot to 7.16d, and I still get the same problems - The iPhone (1.1.3) connects fine, but when I end a call, it seems to sync for ages (updating the recent calls on the Parrot I guess) - Eventually the connection drops, and then re-connects.

All was fine before 1.1.3 - I think this is an issue caused by the update, rather than a firmware issue with Parrot...

Wish I'd have stuck with 1.1.2 - Given the choice of sending multi-texts, or not getting arrested for using the phone in the car, I know which I would choose.

Hope 1.1.4 is not too far away (but I bet it is!)

I contacted Parrot here in the UK, and recieved this response...

+Hello Paul,+

+There appear to be issues regarding disconnection with the latest version of the iphone. To solve them, you need to delete the call register of the iphone and normally the problem is solved.+

+phone / calls / delete / delete all the calls+

+Kind regards+

I will let you know if this helps (I am out in the car tomorrow).

THIS IS THE CLOSEST THING TO A REAL FIX, NOT FIRMWARE UPDATES TO THE BLUETOOTH DEVICE

OK, before I tried the "Clear All Recents" I tried syncing again and taking a look at the recent call list on the Parrot 3100 (before it crashes) and I noticed that about half way down the missed calls ALL started showing up as numbers (as if they were not programmed as contacts). Turns that those missed calls were all before the update (1.1.3). So I tried "Clear All Recents" and synced it up, immediately started looking like it did before the update, the the sync icon finished after about 5 seconds. The phone didn't lock up. However, it did restart on my second trip, but still better than it was.

SO HEADS UP APPLE, LET THE WORD OUT, CLEAR THE RECENTS AND SEE HOW IT WORKS!!!

heres what i did before going to apple.. I did a restore on the phone and set it up as a new phone. so therefor I had no recent calls. I then deleted the phone from the parrot and then paired it back afterwards. it seems to work for a while but when getting out of the car and then getting back in later. it seems that its doing the same as before so it sounds like clearing recents will work but what about the next time you get into the car? this is crazy. I love my iphone and I miss the updates but luckily apple gave me the 1.1.2 back. I hope they get this fixed soon.
