Delete Bookmarks From iPod Touch?

How do you delete/wipe your bookmarks off your iPod Touch? I synced all of my Safari Bookmarks to my iPod Touch, but I've changed my mind. I don't want my bookmarks on my iPod Touch anymore. I can't find any obvious way of deleting or removing them, which seems like a massive design flaw.

Here's an idea...

Export/backup all of your Safari/Internet Explorer bookmarks (depending on where you're syncing them from) and keep them is a safe place. Then delete all bookmarks/folders from your browser. Now sync your bookmarks with the touch but be sure to checkmark the "overwrite all bookmarks" (or whatever it's called) option. After syncing, import your bookmarks back into your browser from your bookmarks backup. Note that after importing them back in, they will likely be in alphabetical order rather than the date added order. I have not tried this but it just may work.
