iPhone causing speakers make buzzing and popping sounds

Like the title says, anytime I receive a call or the iphone uses the AT&T network it cause my computer speakers to make a buzzing noise. It also has done it once or twice in my truck. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? All of my other cell phones have made speakers make a very slight buzzing noise but this is way worse (barely audible, and would not hear it at all if a song was playing). For example if I have a song playing at medium volume it drowns out the song. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

This is quite normal in mobile phones that use GSM/TDMA technology. Basically, the radio signal is being split up in time so as to allow the maximum number of users to access the network. The signals are being picked up by your speakers, hence the interference. It does however seem to be more of a problem on the iPhone than for other phones. Also, if your speakers are not sufficiently shielded from RF interference, they will pick up the interference.

Not really much you can do except for maybe getting new speakers, or making sure the phone is as far away from the speakers as possible.
