False Reading on "Get Info"

I am a new convert so maybe I'm not doing something right, but when I do a "Get Info" on a flashdrive, I'm not getting an accurate picture of the amount of storage used up and the amount of free space remaining. I seem to be getting only the size of the last stored file, not the total of all files stored. This shows a huge free space remaining, but I know that most of the drive has been taken up. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about what is happening? Thanks.

Ok so you are saying that you are only having the problem with the one flash drive? In Parallels you can go to the settings or preferences where it has the settings for how it interacts with the Mac OS. It has the RAM allocation for Windows, how it gets an internet connection, shared folder options, and USB device info. I don't have it on my computer at the moment or I could be more precise.

No, remember that neither the SanDisk nor Memorex on which the files were stored will allow further items to be stored even tho both actually contain only a small portion of their capacity. (See again my Jan 29, 4:00 PM post) I had no trouble storing the jpeg on the third flashdrive because it had none of the afore mentioned files, and I had its full capacity available to me. (See post of Jan 31, 9:02 PM)
I saw the following under Parallels Preferences:
Memory - Adjust Memory Limit -
"Automatically" is ticked, with the maximum setting of 1628 MB.
Under Devices - Shared Folders - "connect all" is ticked and grayed out, "all windows disks" is ticked, "all Mac disks" is ticked and "home folders" is ticked and grayed out.
Under Devices - USB - There are listed IR Receiver, UPS [my battery back-up], Apple Wireless, IP3000 [my printer], MS Optical wireless Mouse [my mouse], Built-in Isight, Apple Keyboard. When a flashdrive is plugged in, it is listed here also. Usually, a flashdrive plugged in when running XP will be recognized, but I have to go to Devices - USB and tick the printer or XP thinks it is off line.
