Party Mode

Hey;

My friend was showing me "Media Monkey" on his ( Shudder) widows machine... and it had an awesome feature called "Party Mode" ... When activated the user could not switch away from "Media Monkey" (basically locked the computer - Password required to leave "Party Mode") ... they couldn't change any ID3 tags... they couldnt immediately change the song... just go through the list and cue whatever they wanted...

I would love to implement something like this on my MBP... I usually have my computer running with airtunes when we are partying and people generally find a way to mess with my settings or w/e...

So I guess my question is if anyone is aware of any iTunes extention/mod/etc. or OS X iTunes replacement that has such features?

(I know there is a guest account work around... but I dont really wanna go that route)

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5)

I tend to use my computer at the same time... so I would like to be able to quickly get into my profile etc. (I know ... fast user switching...)

I guess one of the main features of the other program that I would like to have is the ability to stop people from changing the current song playing...

Ya I know how party shuffle works... but alot of people come along and click whatever they wanna hear... and then the song ends up changing tonnes... I want to block those people who cut off other peoples songs.

It would be nice to also block the same song from being played more than x times in x time.

The guest account work-around is what I am currently doing... just looking for a better way... and seeing what "MediaMonkey" does... makes me want iTunes to do it.
