Message "saving itunes library"
When I tried to turn off my computer last night it was aborted by the message "saving itunes library". It is still trying to save this morning. What do I need to do??

When closing iTunes it will save the data base file before finally closing.
You can try to 'Force Quit' iTunes - esc+'option' + keys held down together will give you the Force Quit dialog box - or from the drop down menu.
If that doesn't work try a 'Force Quit' of the Finder. After that you could reboot if still having problems.
