I am curious to know if there is a way to make a private or hidden folder in iPhoto for pictures that you would not like the general public to see when they bring up your iPhoto library. Or, is there a way to keep certain pictures from showing up in the library?
It seems pretty clear that the Apple idea to 'hide' was to reduce clutter not to put the home errr images of ex girlfriends into secure holding. To me the idea of hiding seems pretty worthless as not only is there a fast unhide with no password, they added freaking links to unhide RIGHT NEXT TO THE ALBUMS... talk about going the other way from right..
Can anyone confirm that was handled in an update? Honestly I would like to see them implement a more graceful handling of hidden images, here's hoping.. however we are how many versions in? and it hasn't been something they thought is worthwhile, i'm sure it's not for thinking of the idea.
Apple has provided a family oriented suite of applications. For those of you who need features or ways to hide questionable material we have provided several possible solutions. I wouldn't expect Apple to go down that road as it's not in their best interest.
