Sim Card tray slot

Recently I wanted to figure out where the sim card was on the iPhone.... i searched online and they were like stick a toothpick or paperclip inside the slot and u pull out the sim tray.

so i followed the instructions which is really simple

in the sim tray there is a sim card. so i tried it in my old phone and it worked perfectly and i figured this would be good in the future just in case my iphone were to break.. so i put the sim tray back in the phone then the other i wanted to use it again and the toothpick i used broke inside the slot and now i cannot pull out sim card tray again and now im worried that i might have voided my warranty by doing so... and im also worried that i will not be able to get out the simcard... plz give me advice

If you havent pushed the pick in far where you cant get to it try and put some superglue (just a little big on the end of another toothpick. Let it sit and try and pull it out. If your handy get a super little carbide bur with a dremel and be rlly careful, if you ruin the tray you can get a new one online very easy.

ok

what you need is high cunning to get the toothpick out of the tiny hole....

1, a paperclip
2, silicon sealent, for baths etc

put paper clip on a piece of paper.... pop a tiny blob of silicon sealent on paper...
pick up paper clip...dip in silicon....prop the paper clip up so the sealent is in the air not stuck to the paper.....then wait....wait.

ok...when the silicon is just getting tacky but nolonger sticky or gooey ...stickthe paper clip into the sim release hole and leave it there...and wait

don't panic...silicon sets like rubber and will do no damage at all...but the wood toothpick will stick to the silicon/paperclip....

the key is to be patient...wait for the silicon to go off/ set.

it worked for a very drunken friend of mine.

good luck
