What's the best way to wear the Apple earphones?
1) Hang from your ear, loosely in the ear, with the extended pieces and wires downward. This picks up minimal bass and you can still hear some things around you.
2) Pushed into your ear with the "speakers" facing forward and the extended piece and wire at right angle to your ear, i.e. sticking out from your ear. This gives maximum, muddled bass, and you can't hear anything around you (which sometimes is exactly what I want).
3) Same as 2, but with the "speakers" facing backward. This gives a sound that is less muddled, a little less bass, but almost no treble (depending on how strategically they are inserted).
With 2 and 3, you look like you have little, white antennae sticking out of the sides of your head.
4) Inserted in your ear with the extended part of the earphones and wires facing up, toward the ceiling, and pressed against your outer ear. This seems to get the best sound, but they fall out of place constantly.
Feedback would be appreciated.
