Use macbook keyboard to control mac mini?

I've installed a mac mini core 2 duo as part of my home audio-video system. Currently using an old apple keyboard and mouse connected via a long usb cable for data input and cursor control. Is there a way to use my macbook keyboard to control the mini wirelessly?

can i use a macbook and a mac mini as dual processors in a pro tools setup for recording? I want to see the mac mini on the macbook and control it with the macbook mouse and keyboard. then use the processing power of the mac mini to help pro tools. how do i do this?

Also, i would like to use the macbook as the monitor and keyboard/mouse for the mac mini. how do I set that up not needing pro tools to work. I guess the second project would be the first step.

Thanks for your help.

Sadly no, there isn't any practical method you can use the MacBook keyboard in the way you seem to wish, though if the two systems can 'see' each other across a network you can remotely control the mini from your MacBook (basically running the mini in a Window on your laptop, using any of the various VNC server/client solutions), though the result tends not to be very satisfying for much more than simple control.
