Help!!Bose Sounddock repair.

Hey!
Tenuous link to the iPT so apologies.
Does anyone on the forum know of any repair companies(UK preferably)for the Bose Sounddock?
My ( now very unpopular younger son)wrenched my iPT out of it whilst it was charging on it and subsequently snapped off the connector...OUCH!
Luckily my Touch is fine but alas the Dock is kaput!
I've had a quick Google for any but appear to be out of luck.
Hopefully my Insurer will be contacting me with some good news later today but I don't want to just throw the other away without trying.

Hey!
Just received an E-mail response from Bose that tells me how to get my Dock serviced by them.Very quick response time, within an hour of contacting them via their website.Fantastic or what?
Dunno how much it will all cost though!

Hey!
Scott,
You're bang on the money there mate!
Got 2 emails within 3 hours of first contacting them.They arranged for a 'delivery pack' to be sent to me for return to them for their engineers to look at.No cost to me.
I asked if they could estimate the cost of the repair and was informed that upto now it was "highly likely at this stage"that there wouldn't be one!
Further,if there was a charge, they would contact me first and ask if I wanted to go ahead.
I have had my Dock FOUR years......now THAT is customer service.
Can't praise them enough.
Well done the Bose Customer Service team.

That's been my experience too, John.
They are like the "Nordstrom's" of audio when it comes to customer service.
You pay a little more maybe, but no hassles and quick turn-around.
Nordstrom's, if you don't know, is akin to Harrod's I have to wager...top-kit.

Just a quick update.
Bose are FANTASTIC..!
I received the Dock back after approx 9 days from sending it in and they repaired it free of charge.
I can not praise them enough.In the dark ages of consumerism here stands a shining light.
Loving that big Bose sound again!
