2wire 1800hg gateway DSL Modem and wireless router

I have the 2wire 1800hg DSL modem and wireless router combo. The internet runs very poorly, takes forever for pages to load, they won't evan finish loading a lot of the time, it doesn't matter if I'm using an ethernet cable, or if I'm running wirelessly, If I take my computer anywhere else and use someone else's wireless modem my computer works perfect, so I know it has all to do with the 2wire 1800, does anybody else have this problem or know how to solve this?
