How to enable FAST forward/reverse and how to test it....??

I am putting together a disc and cant seem to get the content to be allowed to fast forward and reverse ... Like I can on normal DVD's...
The button i thought would audition this (TRACK SKIP FORWARD) just jumps to the beginning and end of the track...
I want to fast forward at different speeds and to get to different points in the movie
Any thoughts
sorry If I'm missing the obvious

It sounds like you mean previewing (as oppossed to editing and shortcuts?) I usually just build the DVD and play it back in Apple DVD Player which has the controls for FF and Reverse. Unless you specifically disable tthe user operation of FF and Rev, it will be there. The Forward/Reverse in Simulator are next/previous markers.
