Connect IPod Touch to car-stereo by AUX cable

Hi’

I have an IPod Touch 16GB and I’m looking for a adaptor for my car-stereo by using a AUX connection. I do not want to use a FM transmitter - The sound is bad (already tried).

So, can anyone recommend a AUX solution for my car-stereo (Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB 54).

Best regards and thanks!

I use the Griffin TuneFlex... it plugs into your lighter outlet, charges your iPod and has an aux connection but through the dock connector, not the headphone jack so you don't have to worry about the volume, plus it's on a gooseneck so you have easy access to your iPod. It also fits pretty much any full sized iPod except the oldest 80GB model because the thickness of the dock is adjustable.

The sound is NOT so bad if you hard wire an FM modulator to your stereo. Circuit City does this job. It takes about an hour and costs a little over $100 with parts. Sounds infinitely better than the little short range FM broadcasters.
If your car is old enough to have a cassette player, you're in luck. The cassette adapters are only about $20 and sound very good. I have a newer car with only a CD player and had to go the modulator route. Besides a installing new stereo, this is probably your best option.
