no sound on Photo Booth video when recorded

Hi,

I've been using photo booth video recording since Leopard came out, but just last week, when i record video in PB, it has no sound. it show just the video.

How can i get the sound back? I checked my mic volume and it's on and max.

Please help me...

BTW, yesterday PB recorded a couple of videos with sound. No need to flick the mic. Today - again, no sound.

Hello,

yes same problem as mmsulli here. Sometimes sound is recorded, sometimes it's not!

And I don't change any setting in the meantime.

Any solution about this?

I second thugbj's reply. I think it is a quicktime problem. I opened a photobooth video on VLC and VOILA! it works. So it could be a quicktime problem.

When i record in photo booth no sound records. It also does not record in any other applications like iMovie. How do i fix this? HELP

Try starting and then quitting GarageBand.

I had the same no sound problem with photo booth. I tried the start garage band and quit it and imagine my surprise...it worked. I have no idea why, but Photo booth sound is working again.

The same here at a MBP.

Solution: I opened Audio-MIDI-Setup and cecked the properties of the microphone input: it was adjusted at 96.000Hz, I put it back on 44.100Hz.
