G3 ibook wallpaper

G3 ibook wallpaper

The wallpaper to my G3 clamshell iBook won't fit the screen. I've checked the screen size etc. The permissions and updates everything else is OK. i know it's an old book but has been OK until recently running 10.3.9
Please help me to get the ladybird to fit

Hi Tim,

Select a non-Apple wallpaper such as a digital photo
or something downloaded from the web.

You may notice controls appear allowing you to
stretch or tile the photo. Choose the setting you want.

Then select the Ladybird image again.

Tim,

I had been giving your problem some thought and was just curious if it was a typo that you referred to the wallpaper as "ladybird" and intended "ladybug"?

I know that there is a ladybug on foliage desktop pattern and just thought that that may have been what you meant.

Ah I see what you mean
I live in the UK and here the little red and black spotted fellas are called ladybirds.
