LG GGW-H20L Blue Ray

Any advice on install a LG GGW-H20L into my Mac Pro? I already noticed that the disc tray will not fit through the opening on the Mac Pro case.

Any advise or opinions welcome.

Just added the LG drive with the Iogear sata pci-e card you suggested. All works fine. Just a curious thought. It does not eject with the eject key. I have to go to the eject icon in the banner above on the right and open it and choose the correct drive. Not a big deal just curious if there is a way I can use option eject like before. I think because we are using a sata card it does not work. Whatever suggestions you have would be great. Thanks.

The front "lip" of the tray like most drives clips on and off. With the tray open slight pressure shoudl unclip the "lip".

There are to eSATA ports (labeled: ODD Port) on the motherboard... the problem is the front of the disc tray does not detach like traditional cd/dvd drives.

Just added the LG drive on the ' hidden' sata. Try to eject with the eject key together hold with the Alt (option) key, it works fine for me ...
