iphone and power surge?
I frequently plug my iphone in at night to charge while I sleep. The other night we had a thunderstorm, which is frequent in my parts, and I woke up in a panic to unplug my phone in case the power went out, or worse flickered and caused a power surge.
It didn't happen (thankfully) but it got me thinking...should the iphone when plugged directly into A/C power source be plugged into a surge protector? May seem obvious, since anything electrical can be damaged by surges, just wondering if iphone has any kind of internal protection. I don't know many people who plug their cell phones into a surge protector, I never did, but I never cared until I got my iphone 🙂
