H700 Bluetooth Headset and iPhone

I have paired my headset to my iPhone but when I open my headset (turn on) it just beeps like it is looking for a device to connect too. My iPhone shows that the headset is paired but dosent seem to connect. The headset workes great with my Blackberry 8830 and old Razer phone. It connect as soon as I open the ear peice.

Any thoughts

Yes, I'm having the same problem with my iPhone (v1.1.4). It seems to fix itself and finally connect after closing the H700 headset for a few seconds, then opening it again. It seems to finally connect on the third close/open.

I think that v1.1.4 improved the handshaking so I don't have to keep re-pairing (meaning un-pair in iPhone Prefs, then re-pair), but now it doesn't seem to immediately pair, but it'll work after 1-2 swivel close/open's...

Just got my Motorola H700 bluetooth headset, paired it with Iphone in 2 minutes, everything works great, BUT when i make a call there is about 7 seconds delay before the call gets transfered to headset, same thing if someone calls me, there is same 7 seconds delay before i can hear the caller.
It's very anoying, because people sometimes just hang up thinking that i didnt answer. I searched the net and it seams Iphone chipset problem, does anybody know how to get rid off the stupid delay? Otherwise i love the headset.

Very strange, i just tryed it on my buddy's iphone, works perfect, no delay. He has the same version phone as me. So it's something to do with my phone. What i noticed, is when i pair my phone it says "motorola h700" when i paired his it just says " handset"

Just a thought...

I have two Motorola H700's and one of them doesn't hold any kind of connection because the microswitch that detects whether it is open or closed is broken. It might get a connection for a second or two, but it loses it. I only discovered the broken switch by really playing with it and figuring it out. Otherwise, I had always just thought that the headset was just a bomb. BTW, the other one does the same thing, just not nearly as bad. Two out of two.

My guess is that your microswitch 'could' be bad.
