Both Safari and Firefox will not load webpage

This is an issue in both Safari and Firefox (I use Firefox as my default, but since it's happening in Safari too, I figured I could post the problem here). I frequently visit Crate & Barrel's website and cb2.com, and as of recent I have not been able to load the site. I've tried on both my eMac (Safari and Firefox) and on my new iMac. I was able to load the page on a windows computer in my house. I'm not sure if I ever viewed their website on my iMac since it's new as of last month. On the eMac I visited the site often. Why all of the sudden would I not be able to load the website? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Mac Users

We at Crate and Barrel wanted to let you know that we have a solution in place for the crateandbarrel.com, cb2.com, and landofnod.com connectivity issues you've been experiencing (sounds like some of you already know 🙂. Since becoming aware of the problem several days ago we've been working to isolate the cause of the problem and implement a fix. Our efforts culminated last night with the discovery of a hardware issue specific to the NICs on some newly installed servers. Through a series of troubleshooting steps we determined the proper NIC configuration to allow Macs to once again connect to the sites.

We apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We appreciate the feedback we received through forums such as this. It was helpful in our efforts to resolve the problem. We hope we don't experience another situation like this, but please know that if we do we will work as quickly and diligently as possible to come up with a solution.

Thanks for your patience.
