Firewire to Serial/DB9 Adapter?

Does anyone know of a Firewire to Serial/DB9 adapter?

I'm looking for a Firewire 400/800 to Male DB9 serial adapter, to do some work on an external device that has timing issues with USB/Serial DB9 adapters.
