iStopMotion asking me to delete old QT file?

I have recently updated my iStopMotion software. In doing so, the program instructed me to delete an "old" and "outdated" DVCPROHDMuxer component. Looks like I have 5 of these files within my QT folder.

Is this safe to delete?

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

In that Qt folder make a new folder and call it *Disable Components*. Place those old component inside that folder. If you need them later on for some reason just pull the from the disable components folder. Those components inside the disable folder will be hidden from any program that tries to access them.

You'll have to quit any program that's open that uses those component, i.e....Qt.
