Hi Guys !!

I have some AVCHD files recorded with my Sony HD HandyCam and want to convert this video files to view them on my ATV2 with the highest video quality posible. The files are in .m2ts , moff & modd format. Do i have first to convert this files to a .AVI or something like that?

Thanks,

Guys,

I do something wrong.
When I pick up mpeg-4 insted of appletv conversion as you suggested the quality is terrible. I pick 1280x720, file format mp4, video format mpeg4 or H.264, and size of the output file is 2,2MB! hen I use apple tv conversion file is 12,2 MB with lower resolution. What I do wrong? Original file size (straight from camera 1080i) is 132MB.

Get free iSquint. In fact I had VCD version 2.0 which does not play in many DVD players (mine did not) and so I grabbed the biggest DAT files and converted to Apple TV with iSquint. Quality of VCD is low so is converted version, but at least I can see my legally purchased movies that are not available on American continent.

Those purchased VCDs are useless with my equipment (except computer, but I do not watch movies on PC) so I plan on putting them to garage box together with my old DVDs.
