Blue screen at login - how to safe boot

Hi there

My laptop has suddenly stopped booting up and gets stuck on a blue screen, identical to descriptions by a couple of other posters on here.

From some of the replies, can someone tell me what 'safe booting' is, and how I do it?

Many thanks

Rangddrol:

You issue is different from the OP's. I suggest that you click here to post a new topic. Give your computer's specs: processor speed, HDD size, RAM installed etc. Describe your issue as fully as you can, including any unusual happenings like a HDD crash, kernel panic or anything.

In that way your issue will get the exposure and attention it deserves rather than becoming entagled or lost in someone else's thread.

Good luck,

cornelius
