Alternative to EpsonScan?

Does anyone know of an alternative to EpsonScan's horrible TWAIN software? EpsonScan is so dated and they haven't improved the features in years. I still can't scan multiple documents in one session. I have to go to File>Import for every document I scan.

I would recheck Epson's site. I've been using Epson Scan for both the Epson Stylus CX6000 and the Epson Perfection V100 to scan multi-paged pdf's. The newest version also has Universal support for Intel Macs.

Whenever I get new hardware, I always go to the manufacturer web site to get the latest stuff. So what I have (last week) is the latest. I'm using the CX7400.

Looking at Epson's site, I see +TWAIN Driver and EPSON Scan Utility v3.25A+. Like I said, I've been using Epson Scan for both the Epson Stylus CX6000 and the Epson Perfection V100 to scan multi-paged pdf's. The newest version also has Universal support for Intel Macs. These are new features and things have changed. Can you be more specific as to what you mean by outdated?

Yes, as another person stated, VueScan is excellent - I've been using it for years, along with ReadIris.
