Is the beta of Safari Stand safe to use for Leopard?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with Safari Stand beta version 3.0L1. Don't want to install it if I'm going to have problems.

The current version is 3.0L157 and it works fine. However, you will need to install PlugSuit - VersionTracker or MacUpdate - in order to get it to load properly. Do not use SIMBL because it is not fully compatible with Safari.

Kappy,

Thanks, just downloaded PlugSuit 1.5.2 so would it go where SIMBL would normally go? So glad I asked this because I would have used SIMBL.

Just run its installer. It will install it automatically. PlugSuit installs as a preference pane. To install SafariStand navigate to the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. Create a new folder there and name it SIMBL. Open that folder and create another folder and name it Plugins. Install the SafariStand.bundle file in the Plugins folder. Open Safari and you should see the Stand menu in Safari's menu bar.
