how to enlarge images displayed in slideshow?

first off, I apologize if this is a dumb question. I just upgraded to the latest version of iWeb, and published my site to my .mac site. Unfortunately, when i go to play slideshow (and that window pops up), the pictures are *REALLY SMALL*. Especially for the pictures that are portrait (not landscape), they are TINY (not much bigger than the thumbnail! lol). Also, there is that mirror effect on the bottom, which I'm not sure if I like...

Anyway, so my questions are, *how can I make the pictures in the slideshow bigger,* (so they actually show at a decent size, lol)? And is there any way to get rid of the mirror effect at the bottom? it seems to be taking up space.

With the previous version of iWeb, I did not have this problem...the slideshow pictures were at a decent size and there was no mirror effect...why oh why did they have go and mess it up? lol

Again, I apologize if this is a dumb question and there is a simple solution..thanks to anyone who answers my question, I'll be immensely grateful....

There are options in iWeb in the Images tab in the Inspector where you can select the image size and if the reflection is shown or not.

There is "Full Screen" option in slideshow inspector, try that.

thanks! i saw that and took out the reflection. also following cyclosaurus' advice i made it full screen as well. with both of those things and not showing the captions, i think the pictures now display at a decent size. thank you both so much! 🙂

Hello--thanks for these previous replies, as I had the same question--slideshow pix in iWeb 08 are much smaller than in iWeb 06. I'm publishing to a folder and uploading to my personal domain, not using .mac.

But, I'm finding that selecting "Full Screen" in the Images/Slideshow Inspector doesn't enlarge the pix at all. I just get more black around the pix. They are still much smaller than in iWeb 06.

Anything I might have missed?

I have the same problem, having just upgraded to a 20"G5 iMac and iLife '08 from a G4 iMac with iLife '06. The slideshow images are still the accustomed, normal, full size on my new computer, but have gone miniscule on our G4 iBook here at home, as well as on my old G3 iMac and the not-so-old, but of course relatively a piece-of-crap PC that I have in my public school classroom, and so also, I would have to assume, on a large fraction of the computers that my friends and acquaintances run. What gives. Can anyone enlighten us?
