Iphone and Mercedes Benz

I have just bought a Iphone and a having problems with the Bluetooth the phone does not sem to pick up any other devices .When i try to pair it with my merc carkit it does not find it .The car kit can see the phone but cant connect to it .Any help would be appreciated

The kit is $500 which costs just as much as the phone.

I just got the new iPhone and it does not sync with the 2008 Mercedes audio system. Understand that it will cost almost $500 to upgrade! Also understand that Cadillac has the same problem. Any fixes?

robnadel, just purchased a 2009 C 300 for my daughter. No problem pairing the phone but the phone numbers from contact list do not transfer over. How is this resolved?

Not sure if you are still selling MB cars, my 2011 C300 works with iPhone, but I could not get the contact list uploaded.

Just wait until you upgrade to IOS 5, then see what fun it is trying to connect iPhone 4 to Bluetooth.

No, I get calls all time with my iPhone 5 and no issues.

One question, is your A/C or heater on or window open? Back ground noise really affects talking on the phone through Bluetooth.

It is weird as i had a loan car from mercedes the other day and it was fine. They checked for software updates from mercedes but all my car's software was up to date. Very frustrating!

Go to settings on the iPhone, select Bluetooth, tap on the blue arrow beside the MB connection,

Ensure 'notification' is on!

That should work, no update needed. :)

Same error.

Mercedes say work fine with 6,0 versión and i have 6.02.

I dont think this is the problem but o dont know what make

If you update your phone to ios 6.1 this fixes the problem
