When I try to upload pictures that I took with my iPhone onto websites they upload sideways, but when I view them in iPhoto or Preview they show up how they were taken (portrait). Yes, I've tried turning the phone different ways, same result. Is there a reason that the pictures are showing up on iPhoto and Preview correctly but upload incorrectly? I've tried it both by using iPhoto and by downloading into Image Capture... same result.

I didn't change any orientation tags if that comment was to me. I didn't need to. The pictures upload onto my computer in the correct orientation and show on my phone in the correct orientation. The only problem I had is when I try to upload them (from the computer where they are shown correctly) to the internet they are oriented incorrectly. I don't think I'd need to change an orientation tag because would it not affect the orientation of the picture in iphoto and on the phone after that only making them incorrect?

I have the same problem as JackJak.
I take pictures with my phone then upload them to Adobe and delete the originals in my phone then later i put them into albums and re-upload them back to my phone. The pictures are turned! The ones that were took vertically are turned horizontally.
My guess is that iPhone in some wierd way turns all the photos horizontally, because thats how all my photos are, they are all going in the exact same direction when they weren't took originally like that.

Someone have any suggestions how I might fix my dilemma?
