Mumbling

So I was having a lovely talk with my sister, and suddenly i got annoyed by her "Whats?" and "Huh?" So I asked, "Can you not hear me?" and she was like "No, you sound very mumble-y, almost as if you have a lisp" I quickly blamed her phone (of course, who would blame a phone they paid 600$ for). Then i was talking to my friend, and she was also asking me to repeat things, and she too said i sounded mumble-y. Before anyone jumps me and starts claiming I'm a mumble speaker, they all called my house phone and heard me perfect, so it's not me, it's obviously this phone. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a solution?

I ran into a problem with distorted calls while I was walking around outside near my work in which sometime others thought my voice was distorted, and sometimes I heard highly distorted voices but on the other end I sounded fine. I first thought my iPhone was the problem, but I've discovered that the problem is a bad AT&T coverage "pocket" that I can walk in and out of where the call problems occur.

So, did your call problems occur in the same geographic location, or in various locations?
