Can iChat Server auto-populate a buddylist from OD?

I'm setting up an iChat Server service on a client's Xserve, and I'd like to know if the buddylist can be auto-generated and auto-updated based on Open Directory. I've got iChat limited to a user group, as the client requested, but I'd like to not have to add / remove users. Can this be done? I am using 10.5.1 Advanced setup. Thanks!

Not in advance mode, but there are some 'semi-working' solutions.

check out the jabber_autobuddy command:
