WAV files playing very slow when imported - HELP PLEASE!!!

I am trying to do a mix for someone and when I have dragged their WAV files into Logic they are playing really slow.

When I preview each track in the "Get info" option the file plays at the correct speed.

Can anybody offer me some advice on what I'm doing wrong please?

Hi,

This is definitely a sample rate mismatch situation. Ensure that your Logic sessions is set to the wav file's sample rate BEFORE importing the audio file.

If it sounds slow, this is because the Logic is at a lower sample rate than the wav file.
