I had 2 Airs that were warped like this out of the box. The 2nd one had almost 1/8 inch gap under front left corner when the screen was open.

Apple Genius did replace both of them. Third one was darn near flat. I will tell you a trick, but I take NO RESPONSIBILITY for the outcome. Somebody here said that they set their Air diagonally across their leg and VERY gently pressed down the opposing diagonal corners a little at a time, and then retested. It flattened itself right out. Just don't over-do it. a little bit of pressure goes a long way.

The way they all seemed to be warped, front left corner not sitting flat, set the mac (lid open) on your leg diagonally front right to back left. With your right and left index fingers, gently, and simultaneously, press down the back right corner near the power button, and the front left corner. After one press, set it on a flat surface. Repeat if needed. Once again, do this at your own risk, and please be gentle. Good luck!
