script blocker, what is it and how can you stop it????

Hi,

I am trying to set up an adsl modem and router, from Belkin. I have spent 3 hours today with their tech team. For them to tell me that my MAC is blocking a web address I need to enter (to finalise my configuration) by use of a "script blocker'!!!!

Has anyone got any ideas how I can fix this problem, without having to phone belking again!!!!

Hi Keef

Which browser are you using - Safari? Make sure that, in Safari's Preferences, you don't have JavaScript turned off (under the Security tab). If you've installed any plugins, such as PithHelmet or Saft, make sure that they aren't interfering with your JavaScript functionality. Alternatively, try a different browser, such as Firefox.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your help.

Was using safari and javascript was turned off. So took your next piece of advise and tried firefox. Now works fine!!!!
